Charges (Occasional Use)
Hourly Hire
£17.00 per hour (minimum 3 hour hire period)
£100 refundable security bond (£200 if garden is used)
All Day Hire
Saturday all day (12pm-midnight) – £230
Sunday all day (10am-6pm) – £115
These charges do not apply for Bank Holidays or special occasions such as New Years Eve.
***All Bookings include a £5 booking fee

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Any party aged 16-21 must have security with an SIA Badge present on site throughout the hire. We can provide recommended services for this, please contact bookings@iwadevillagehall.co.uk
- If you or a third party plan to sell alcohol on site, you must provide evidence of a personal licence and public liability insurance.
- Public Liability insurance will need to be provided if you or a third party plan on providing any services on site during the hire. Please email these to bookings@iwadevillagehall.co.uk
FAQ
How far in advance do I need to book?
We insist that all bookings are placed at least 4 weeks in advance due to insurance and licensing limitations. Please be informed that no booking is confirmed until full payment and deposit is received.
How much does it cost to hire?
Hiring the hall is £17.00 per hour and must be hired for a minimum of 3 hours. We also offer packages over the weekend where you can hire midday to midnight on Saturdays for £230 and 10:00 to 18:00 on Sundays for £115.
How do I pay?
Payment in full, including deposit, is required when booking using the online booking system.
What facilities are included?
You will have full access to the building and carpark, the garden area however is not our property and will require approval from the local parish council by contacting clerk@iwade-pc.gov.uk
There are kitchen facilities, toilets, seating and tables. We insist the building returned to its original state otherwise charges will be deducted from the deposit.
Is alcohol allowed on site?
Alcohol is allowed on site however the sale of alcohol, you, or the landlord operating the mobile bar, will need to provide evidence of a persona license and public liability insurance. Please respect our neighbours, be quiet and avoid any unnecessary disturbance when hiring during late evenings.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a £100 deposit is required when hiring the hall. If you also require the garden area, an additional £100 will be requested upon approval from the parish council as we do not own this land. Please contact clerk@iwade-pc.gov.uk if you wish to also hire the garden.
How many car park spaces are there?
There are 17 car park spaces, including 1 disabled space. Please note, these spaces can also be used as short stay (1 hour) spaces for residents and therefor are not solely reserved for events.
Are bouncy castles and/or smoke machines permitted?
No. For health & safety, we cannot allow the use of smoke machines or bouncy castles on site, including the garden and car park areas.
How soon will I hear back about my booking?
As the hall is run entirly by volunteers, the website is not manned 24/7. Please expect replies within 7 days.
